Teens & Tweens and Young Adults (YA)

Picture of lounge area in Teens & Tweens section of Clark Memorial Library.

Located on the second floor, you will find dedicated space for our Teens & Tweens and also our Young Adults (YA). A bit secluded from the rest of the floor, the Teens & Tweens area is next to the Young Adult section at the front of the building. The YA section is on either side of the front door. The Teens & Tweens is to the right of the front door, just past the YA section. With dappled light and easy chairs for reading and relaxing in, the Teens and Tweens area is where you will find not only books and graphic novels, but also games, our Maker Studio, and our 3D printer.

This Week at the Library:

Teens & Tweens and YA Programs

We are always eager to provide programs for Teens and Tweens and post all programing information to both our Events calendar and our Facebook page so be sure to check often to stay up to date on all of our programs for Teens & Tweens and YA.

Maker Studio

Front and center in the Teens and Tweens area are the 4 tables that make up our Maker Studio. Here we host programs for kids (12-18 years old) and provide instructions and materials for self-led crafts that are more advanced than those found in the Children’s Room Maker Space. Self-led crafts are featured on a rotating basis so check our Events calendar and keep an eye on our Facebook page to stay up to date on all of the programs we offer for Teens and Tweens.

Simply go to the website, or download the app if needed, and begin searching for your next video, documentary, ebook, audiobook, comic, craft, or personal development module from the many resources provided. Each resource has an outline of how to access, but if you need ANY assistance, our staff and librarians are always happy to help – just stop in or set up a time to meet with someone on staff to help get you going on the digital highway!
